Advertisements targeting children – An overview of Indian legal scenario

Until recently, India's only advertising regulation was the Advertising Standards Code of India (ASCI). In 2022, Section 8 of CCPA Guidelines, issued by ASCI[3], specifically addresses advertisements directed at children.
